Walk Fatty Walk & TED

May 13, 2010

Saw this today, not in person, but on Its Nice That.

Anyway a series of labels have been stuck around the centre of London on the Bus information signs, specifically in the Oxford Street area. It is to encourage people to walk the length of a couple of stops instead of catching the bus. It was designed by London based design platform Three Green Dots.

Where I walked today…

January 29, 2010

The last couple of days I have had to walk upto Tottenham Court Road from work… not that far really about 20mins! But as it was the 2nd time in 2 days, today I decided Id take my camera with me. Kinda cool, made me look out for more things. But sadly nothing brilliantly spectacular happened, which is what normally happens when im around there….WITHOUT my camera! Although I did see Jack & Vera from Corries daughter (also appeared in the sainsburys adverts) so you know not a total disaster.

See pics after the jump….

Reindeer spotted on the Underground!

November 16, 2009

The ‘Underground Animals’ are all created using the tube lines, stations and junctions of the London Underground map which were first spotted by Paul Middlewick in 1988. The original animal, the elephant was discovered while Paul was staring at the tube map during his daily journey home from work. Since then, the elephant has been joined by many others from bats to bottlenose whales. Check out more

Cultural Parking

During the summer I went traveling for a few weeks around Morocco. On the way through Spain I found a sign post which was a bit politically incorrect.
